Where We Came From
We started Stoodio in 2022, after our co-founder Emily spent months struggling to find an affordable studio to rent in London. When we realised many other artists were facing the same challenge, we set out to change that—building a platform to help artists find, share, and rent creative space across the city.
But as our community grew, so did our vision. We realised finding space was just the beginning—artists also needed better and more fair ways to get the work they were creating in the studio seen and sold.
We started with space. Now, we spotlight exceptional art made inside it.

Where we are going
Stoodio might look like an online art gallery—but we work differently.
The traditional art world is too often built on gatekeeping, guesswork, and galleries taking far too much from artists. We're here to change that, using tech with care and purpose to build something more open, more fair, and more artist-first.
Any artist can submit work to Stoodio—at any time. Every piece is then thoughtfully reviewed by a rotating team of artists, curators, and historians. The result: a constantly evolving showcase of standout original artwork, selected by experts, not algorithms.
When you buy a piece, 90% of the price goes straight to the artist. An additional 10% Artist Promotion Fee—added at checkout—is reinvested into professionally promoting original work, helping more artists get seen, discovered, and supported.
We’re not just helping artists sell—we’re helping them grow.
